Born in a family with a strong artistic background, I’ve heard fantastic stories and devoured illustrated books since I was a child.
Curious and passionate about colours and shapes, at the age of 3, I had my first draw published on a newspaper, just for the fun. I’ve completed my university communication design degree and complemented it with extra studies in the areas of video, photography and scientific illustration. Forty-two years later, in 2016, I’ve appeared again in the pages of a newspaper This time paying honour to the Legends of Olhão, in Algarve, the land that nurtured me and that I carry in my heart.
I am and I will be, forever grateful to all the people who have supported me in this journey. To those who have made sacrifices. To those who are here at the present and those who are no longer with us. To those who are with me from a long time and to the new.
Those who support and boost me and to the ones that trust me, and my work.
There is a proverb that says, “To raise a child you need a village.”
To raise an artist too!
Thank you.
